The Swedish Honorary Consulate General in Sofia performs the following services:
- Delivery of ordinary passports, driving licenses and Swedish national ID cards received from Sweden,
- Assisting Swedish citizens in distress,
- Visiting Swedish citizens in prison,
- Life certificates / Levnadsintyg for Swedish pensioners,
- Issuing of death certificates of Swedish citizens deceased in Bulgaria,
- Issuing of emergency passports
The Consulate does not have the authority to deal with the following:
- Holiday visa applications (Schengen visas)
